...are drifting away...

RE: Title. That's the next line of the song. I think, I could google it, but I'm not going to in conclusion, suck it up.

Last night was the Hockey!
It was fricken awesome!

Quite different from the Canadiens game, one the Canadiens game was sold out. The Devils game not so much of the crowd. It was very crappy weather, it really effected the trains.
There was also the lack of French and the fact I was sitting with someone who knew what was going on. That was great! Melissa, my tour guide of the Hockey, also used to be Sports Reporter so knows lots and lots about Hockey.
I finally proved that I am not a curse on teams I support, I was cheering for the Devils and they won 5-1. So, go team Devils!
Devils fans really hate the Rangers. It's quite funny.
Such an amusing group of fans.
We started off with all the loud and crazy fans. One dude had a cowbell, on his jersey (or "sweater" as the Hockey people call it apparently) was "Cowbell". Apparently his thing.

Hockey is really great. Love it!
I think I might work on not being a fake fan. Though, some dude asked me how the game went tonight. I have a Toronto Maple Leafs beanie (or toque as the Canadians say)and as a result a lot of people think I'm from Toronto, some even after I converse with them. The combined effort of the beanie and the Leafs playing tonight is the question. If anyone is curious they beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 7-3.

Today was much better weather, although I started late I headed down to lower Manhatten in the hopes of seeing the Statue of Liberty and going to Liberty Island. Unforuntely it was too late and I missed the last fairy to the island. It was really cold there though, really, really cold.
I got the Ferry over to Staten Island and then back, didn't really look at Staten Island, I think it's mainly just houses and it was getting quite late. Manhatten I'll wander around in the dark, Staten Island not so much.

I then went to my regular nightly activity, yes the Wicked Lottery, once again I didn't get tickets so I went to see 39 Steps instead.
That was hilarious!
It is the Hitchcock movie done with a cast of 4. Yes, 150 characters played by 4 characters. One of the guys in the cast just played the one character and most of the roles were played by two actors. Man, it was just absolutely hilarious.
I haven't seen the movie, but the guy next to me had and said they followed it quite well. Which doesn't shock me since most of the humour came from the fact it was all just done with 4 people and had no stage hands. It was really amusing.
Just how they worked going in cars and on a train. Very good.
Play not a musical.

Tomorrow, I just plan to wander. Don't know where I'll end up.
Depends on the weather I might see if I can get to Ellis Island and what not.
If not, I'll check out Ground Zero and Wall St.

Recent Photo Challenge gatherings:
Video Challenge of the two Anthems with Back up singers (oh yeah!)
Guy with a red neck
Subway Token in an Unusual Place (it was on a ferry, unusual enough for ya? I'm hoping to get it on the subway as well, because tokens aren't used anymore. It is a card)

I'm over 30 now! OVER 30!
